Panel discussions, a fair, art therapy, and networking were part of the “I. She. Aloud” Forum, held within the global “16 Days Against Gender-Based Violence” campaign. The Ukrainian Feminist Network participated in the Forum through contributions to panel discussions and by organizing activities for attendees.

The Chair of the Board was one of the speakers on the panel “Voices of Different Communities: An Intersectional Perspective on GBV,” alongside representatives of the organizations “Voice of Romni” and “The League of the Strong,” moderated by Olena Shevchenko.

The Network also presented a series of educational brochures on gender-based violence. Forum participants learned more about the forms of GBV, response mechanisms, and available support services in Ukraine. The brochures included a list of organizations providing free psychological and legal assistance, as well as temporary shelter.

Additionally, the organization showcased brochures on digital GBV, which was the global theme of this year’s “16 Days” campaign. Facts, statistics, and step-by-step guidance on how to leave violent situations were complemented by expert opinions from organizations working specifically on this issue.

Participants also had the opportunity to purchase beekeeping products from a craftswoman— a member of the Network and twice an internally displaced person — for whom this work is not only a business but also a form of psychosocial support.

The Feminist Network’s stand also offered an art therapy practice gently facilitated by an artist and Network colleague.
