The Ukrainian Feminist Network’s strategic areas of activity provide support and development for women at various levels. The main areas of the organization’s activity are sustainability, community, and work organization.
Sustainability is ensured by the ambassador program and international exchanges and internships. It is extremely important to understand the experiences of other countries with similar problems and goals.
In August, we organized and successfully held a networking event in Moldova entitled “Transnational Solidarity in Times of Crisis and War,” and earlier in the spring, we attended an event in Armenia entitled “Municipal Partnership Conference.” All this not only increases the professionalism of FemNetwork members, but also allows them to develop new connections and partnerships.
Support and community building is carried out in several stages: creating spaces for solidarity and recovery, institutional support for network members and capacity building, as well as through advocacy, research, and visibility.

The events organized and supported by the Ukrainian Feminist Network throughout the year allowed activists and women and girls in need to spend fulfilling and meaningful time together. These activities were aimed at informal communication, supporting emotional health, and generally relaxing and shifting focus from work to self-care.
The third block—organizing work—mainly consists of coordinating and connecting initiatives. By supporting each other and providing information platforms for initiatives and projects, we will be able to reach more women and girls and improve their quality of life by involving them in our activities.
This also includes strengthening the feminist humanitarian response and service areas of work. In order to effectively help and support, it is necessary to first clearly understand what kind of help and support women and girls need.
